The BMW X3 entered its Model Year 2013 with the February 2012 production. Prices have been raised slightly, while the Power Tailgate (316) which used to cost $500 is now standard.

The BMW X6 enters the model year 2013 (MY 2013) with April 2012 production. Selective modifications in design and innovative equipment features hone the profile of the new BMW X6. The standard fog lights are now set in matt finish surrounds in the upper area of the outer air inlets. As an alternative to the standard bi-xenon light, the new BMW X6 is the first vehicle in its segment to be fitted optionally with adaptive LED headlamps (552) for $1,900. With its newly designed rear lights with LED technology, the powerfully shaped rear section of the new BMW X6 also features more intense styling.

The new 3 Series Sedan enters its 6^th generation (F30) with the model year 2012.

• Increased interior space: a 93-millimeter increase in length enhances silhouette of the 3 Series. The rear passengers also gain from the car’s increased exterior dimensions and are welcomed by extra legroom inside the rear doors as they climb aboard. There is also 15 millimeters of additional knee room behind the front seats, while headroom is up by eight millimeters.
• Three equipment lines: the new BMW 3 Series Sedan is available in three equipment lines in addition to the entry-level version:

o   The Sport Line (ZSL)

o   Luxury Line (ZLL)

o   Modern Line (ZML)

o   An M Sport Package with special exterior and interior features is in the pipeline for summer 2012.

• The new 3-series Sedan come to the USA with 2 powerful engines:

o    The MY2012 328i sedan with 2.0-litre displacement: The N20 BMW TwinPower Turbo four-cylinder engine fronts a new generation that was released earlier this year on the Z4 sDrive28i and 528i. The state-of-the-art turbocharged powerplant develops 245 hp and peak torque of 258 lb-ft from as low down as 1,250 rpm.

o    The MY2012 335i sedan keeps the N55 BMW TwinPower Turbo straight-six engine with 3.0-litre displacement which develops peak output of 300 hp and maximum torque of 295 lb-ft at just 1,200 rpm

• Prices:

o    2012 328i Sedan: $34,900 (+$300 compared to the MY2011)

o    2012 335i Sedan: $42,400 (+$350 compared to the MY2011)

As of July 2011, the MY 2012 650i Coupe has been introduced on the US Market. US MSRP is $83,000.  On top of the optional equipment already offered on the 650i Convertible, 3 options are added:

• ZMP M Sport Package ($4,400)
• ZF2 Full LED Headlights & 20” Wheels ($2,900)
• 6F2 Bang & Olufsen Sound System ($3,700)

The 650i Coupe as opposed to the 650i Convertible doesn’t have to bear the $1,000 Gas Guzzler Tax.

The 5-Series GranTurismo also enters MY 2012 as of next September. Prices are increased by $300 for the 535i and by $1,400 for the 550i.

The optional equipment has been significantly revisited as ZAV Active vent. seat package, ZCE Camera Package and ZCV Convenience Package disappear, while ZLS Luxury Seating Package, ZMP M Sport Package and ZVP Value Package are introduced.
